Fine-Art Photography With Story, Craft, and Purpose

I create fine-art landscape photography that brings atmosphere, meaning, and a strong sense of place into homes, offices, hospitality spaces, and private collections.

My creative journey began with an understanding that images can do more than capture what something looks like. They can shape perception, preserve emotion, and tell stories that stay with us.

Early in my career, I had the opportunity to learn directly from entertainment and broadcasting pioneers Ken Kerr and Bob Cox. Both men helped shape the way I came to understand vision, creativity, storytelling, and what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

Ken Kerr was a key player in helping Walt Disney achieve his extraordinary creative vision. Walt Disney had remarkable ideas, but bringing a vision of that scale to life required talented people who could understand those ideas and help transform them into reality. Ken was one of those people.

Bob Cox brought a different but equally valuable perspective. He helped start the Home Shopping Network, taking part in the development of an innovative idea that grew from its early beginnings into a major television retail network. Learning from Bob reinforced for me that a strong vision must be combined with communication, presentation, persistence, and the ability to connect an idea with an audience.

The lessons I learned from Ken and Bob have stayed with me throughout my career. They taught me that having a vision is only the beginning. Bringing that vision to life requires creativity, experience, patience, craftsmanship, and thoughtful execution.

That philosophy has particular meaning to me as a photographer. A photograph also begins with a vision—seeing something before the finished image exists, recognizing what a scene can become, and then using experience, creativity, patience, and craftsmanship to bring that vision to life.

My Approach

I believe art reaches its highest value when creative vision is paired with clear context and purpose.

My background spans photography, visual effects, branding, multimedia, and creative consulting. I bring those disciplines together to develop cohesive photographic series rather than isolated images. Each piece is considered as part of a larger visual story, with attention given to composition, atmosphere, color, print quality, and how the finished work will live within a space.

Landscape photography allows me to explore the relationship between place, time, light, and memory. I am drawn to scenes that invite people to pause and experience something beyond the surface: a feeling of stillness, discovery, possibility, or connection.

The goal is not simply to document a location. It is to create an image that carries the emotional presence of being there.

Professional Background

I am the founder and creative consultant of Kaggie Holdings Inc., established in 2003. Throughout my career, I have worked across commercial photography, visual communication, branding, and multimedia production.

My professional experience includes work connected with organizations and clients such as Canon, the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, John Z. DeLorean, and Dole Pineapple.

I hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in Visual Art and Design, in Photography and Multimedia, from Salt Lake Community College.

This combination of creative training, commercial experience, and mentorship shaped the way I see fine-art photography today: as both a meaningful artistic expression and a carefully crafted object intended to enrich the space it occupies.

The Work

Every collection begins with a place, but it develops through story.

I look for landscapes with a distinct emotional character: the movement of changing weather, the quiet geometry of the natural world, the tension between permanence and change, or the brief moment when light transforms an ordinary scene.

From the initial exposure through the final print, I work to preserve that experience while giving each image a clear visual voice. The finished photographs are designed to reward repeated viewing and create a lasting relationship with the people who live or work around them.
